Timing and Maintenance Windows

Investors can trade digital assets via the Bakkt platform seven days a week and every day of the year. The following list provides times and timing windows for various Bakkt processes.

Digital Asset Maintenance Window	First Tuesday of every month Between the hours of 01:00-04:00 CT	We try where possible to not take the platform completely down for maintenance. During this period you may notice some drops in pricing or rejected/delayed orders. If we need the platform to be completely down during this period we will give you a notice on our status page.
Daily Positions File Upload	4:50 PM-5:05 PM CT Daily	Bakkt creates and uploads daily position files to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets every day during this time period.
Bakkt Execution Confirms File Upload	4:50 PM-5:30 PM CT Daily	During this time period, execution confirm files upload to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets (If using Bakkt FIAT).
Apex Execution Confirms File Upload	7:30 PM-11:30 PM CT (Monday-Friday excluding public holidays)	During this time period, execution confirm files upload to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets. (If using Apex FIAT) Note timing dependant on Apex batch process.
Net Settlement File	9:45 PM CT Daily	Bakkt creates and uploads daily net settlement files to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets every day during this time period covering 9 AM - 9 AM CT the previous day. (If using own FIAT provider)
Client Trade Confirm Emails	7:10 AM CT Daily	Bakkt sends confirmation emails to clients to confirm executed trades for that day.
Money Movement Fail Report (i.e., tpj_aging report)	9:30 AM CT and 7:30 PM CT Daily	This report provides a list of any failed money movements; the platform provides this report twice per day at these times.
Bakkt SOD TPJ aging report	4:50 PM-5:30 PM CT Daily	This report provides a list of any failed money movements with matches timing with the bakkt execution confirms for buying power management.
Apex SOD TPJ aging report	7:30 PM-11:30 PM CT	This report provides a list of any failed money movements with matches timing with the Apex execution confirms for buying power managment.
Money Movement Retries	6:15 AM CT and 5:15 PM CT Daily	Bakkt retries money movement calls for previously unsuccessful attempts; the platform retries attempts twice per day at these times.
Daily Coin Transfer File	4:45 PM - 5:05 PM	Bakkt creates and uploads the coin transfer file to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets every day during this time period. (If coin transfers are enabled)
Cash Activity File	4:45 PM - 5:05 PM	Bakkt creates and uploads the cash activity file to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets every day during this time period. (If using Bakkt Fiat)
Cash Balance File	4:45 PM - 5:05 PM	Bakkt creates and uploads the cash balance file to clients' Bakkt S3 buckets every day during this time period. (If using Bakkt Fiat)
